* -- Bridgeport Project towns paid $80 plus $18.50 for every ton up to their minimum commitment through December 31, 2008, then paid $63 per ton starting January 1, 2009, under the new Southwest Division solid waste disposal agreement with CRRA.
** -- Mid-Connecticut Project towns paid $72 per ton through December 31, 2008, then $62 per ton through June 30, 2009, through the use of an audited surplus from Fiscal Year 2008.
*** -- Mid-Connecticut Project towns can elect to take a $6-per-ton reduction in their tip fees in 2009-2010 or 2010-2011. The credit came from a Tip Fee Stabilization Reserve created by the CRRA Board of Directors.
**** -- The Wallingford Project ended June 30, 2010, and those towns are no longer served by CRRA.
Mid-Connecticut Project towns and Southwest Division towns have never paid a disposal fee for delivering recyclables. It's one more way CRRA encourages recycling.
