Section 22a-268f of the Connecticut General Statutes requires CRRA to establish a Special Committee to study options for waste disposal following the expiration of Mid-Connecticut Project contracts in 2012. The Special Committee must report to the CRRA Board of Directors no later than two years before the Mid-Connecticut Project bonds expire, or November 15, 2010.

At its initial meeting on December 10, 2009, the Special Committee scheduled meetings on the following dates:
