Municipal service agreements between the Wallingford Project and its five member towns are in force until June 30, 2010. The five towns have signed individual agreements with Covanta, which will take ownership of the trash-to-energy plant on July 1, 2010, while CRRA has an agreement to send 25,000 tons of trash per year to the Wallingford facility at the best price available.
