WEEKDAY TOURS FOR SCOUT TROOPS

Educator-led tours are available to scouts at the CRRA Trash Museum. The tours offer an opportunity to view the recycling processing plant and museum exhibits. Additionally, a craft, short movie or activity are included. Pre-registration is required.

At the Trash Museum, scout-troop tours are available from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Additional time slots are available during early dismissal days or school vacations. Effective July 1, 2011, admission is $3 per scout, $3 per sibling (under age 2 are free) and $3 per adult fee. There is no charge for scout leaders.

GENERAL SCOUT DAY

The Trash Museum is open on selected Saturdays for General Scout/Family Fun Days. Dates and times are listed on the schedule for special events.Scout groups are required to pre-register at both museums and the public is encouraged to visit during the General Scout/Family Fun Days in Hartford.

PRE-REGISTRATION FOR ALL SCOUT PROGRAMS

Pre-registration is required for weekday scout tours and General Scout Days. To register, please call the CRRA Trash Museum in Hartford at 860-757-7765. Space in these special programs is limited, so call early!
